Vision
A network of locally owned Collectives across every town that has a room and a scene, connected to each other, owned by no one but the people in them. Local first. Not local only.
Core hypothesis
When people discover and support culture in a Collective, they go on to engage further: attending, contributing, building real connections. We are testing this in one city, with venues, and publishing the result either way.
How we hold it
Open source from day one. Stewarded by a community-interest foundation under an asset lock. Free to run. Never a toll on being open.

Founded by places
A Collective starts with a venue, or a few. Artists and supporters join what the place has built.

No toll on being open
The core is free to run. No percentage fee on a venue that isn't yet profitable. Every fee visible before publish.

Your data stays home
Supporter data, messages, finances and decisions stay with the Collective. Public things travel; private things don't.

Nobody holds your money
Tickets and support settle through a regulated payment provider, split at source, itemised on the night.

Trust by default
Rights, safety, access and consent are shipped in the template, not left to the operator.

Why does Wundr exist?
People are turning up. The infrastructure underneath them is failing.
Grassroots attendance is growing. The rooms that host it run on almost no margin, and the artists who fill them earn almost nothing from streams. Discovery, tickets, merch, mailing lists and community are scattered across platforms that hold the relationship and the data, while the local scene that gives all of it meaning stays invisible.
Wundr exists to give that scene a home it owns.

Open by design
Infrastructure the sector owns, not a platform the sector rents
Open source from day one
The code is public before the first Collective is. Anyone can run it, inspect it, improve it. Open APIs, open export formats, versioned standards changed in the open.
Stewarded, not owned
The core, the standards and the name will be held by the Wundr Community Foundation, a community-interest company with an asset lock. It cannot be bought, closed or turned into a fee later.

Deploy from the template on your own infrastructure, or let Wundr Space host and keep it compliant for you. Either way it's yours. Leave with everything.
